LAUNCH PLAN, MARKETING SITE, AND SOCIAL MEDIA FOR MARCH OF DIMES: PERISTATS

In March 2022, March of Dimes released a modernized version of PeriStats, a free resource offering up-to-date maternal and infant health statistics and robust data visualizations. In the months leading up to go-live, I crafted a marketing campaign to drum up enthusiasm about the new site launch.

In collaboration with a designer, developer, and technical project manager, we delivered a project roadmap outlining milestones and KPIs, a landing page complete with interactive elements and micro-animations, and social media assets for pre- and post-launch communications.

 
 
 

THE MARKETING SITE

Through interviews with client stakeholders and the Peristats development team, I learned about the value and key features of this newly modernized tool:

It aggregates data from 12 government organizations. It features a mobile-first design for improved usability. It offers more than 60,000 graphs, maps, and tables to help researchers visualize and share complex health information.

I rough-sketched the site design and crafted copy for each content section. From there, I collaborated with our designer to identify opportunities for subtle visual enhancements that would both elevate the user experience and mimic the style of the soon-to-be-launched Peristats site.
